Christine Allen's World Gift edit

Christine has been choosing World Gifts for years, thoughtful presents that bring joy to her loved ones and make a real difference. This year, she’s created her own World Gifts edit: a collection of gifts she’s excited to give this Christmas. For Christine, these special gifts are a fun and practical way to celebrate the season with meaning, sharing love while remembering our global family.

The Teach someone to read gift speaks to Christine’s passion for education as a gateway to opportunity. Water for a family ensures a basic human right, helping families stay healthy and thrive. Safe place to call home echoes her deep concern for displaced communities seeking security and peace.

“These gifts are meaningful in every sense; they’re thoughtful presents I’m truly excited to give to my family. I love that World Gifts let us celebrate Christmas in a joyful, generous way, while also connecting with something bigger. It’s a chance to show love to those close to me and stand in solidarity with others around the world.”

Nicole & Benaiah's World Gift edit

Nicole and Benaiah’s World Gifts collection is inspired by their passions: good food, the natural environment, and sustainable living. Their love for travel and time spent in the kitchen are reflected in these gifts, which nourish both people and the planet.

The Vegetable Garden gift supports families in growing fresh produce, helping them eat well, increase income, and enjoy the dignity of homegrown food. The Happy Queen Bee gift celebrates Nicole’s joy in the kitchen and emphasizes the importance of bees in pollination, crop production, and honey. The Forest School gift showcases their commitment to the environment and education by backing a year of sustainable farming mentorship and rainforest conservation.

"We love that CAFOD’s World Gifts lets us give something meaningful. These gifts are about more than charity; they’re about sharing what we love with others in a way that respects the planet and builds futures."

This collection highlights Nicole and Benaiah’s core values: caring for the earth, loving good food, and believing that small actions can create something beautiful.
