When the conflict in Lebanon reached her home, Mariam had no choice but to flee. In the rush to escape she had no chance to take anything with her – her only thought was getting her three children to safety.
The family made their way to a camp, crowded with other people who had fled the violence. Our local partners provided her with emergency food and other supplies to keep her and her children going.
Mariam’s dream of returning home may still seem a long way off – but thanks to a gift like yours at least now she and her children are safe, and have the food they need to survive.
