Olia had just finished decorating her new home with her husband when the war in Ukraine started. Days later, their home was bombed. Our partners provided them with support and building materials so they could start to build back what they had lost.

“My dream? To rebuild the house, to see my son married, to see grandchildren running around in this courtyard,” says Olia. “Once the war ends, everything else will work out. We are hard-working people, we will rebuild. The whole of Ukraine is hard-working.”
