World Gifts – Julie Etchingham
ITV News at Ten presenter and reporter Julie Etchingham, who is a CAFOD ambassador, recently visited Lebanon and saw some of our work in action.
She visited a school in Mount Lebanon where CAFOD partners have helped get Syrian refugee children into school and pay for their transport to and from school, their uniforms and stationery.
As Julie emphasises in the video below, this really does provide children who have been through so much with “the best start” in life.
Julie suggests buying a School starter pack, but there are lots of gifts to choose from, including Help a refugee child which will mean we can change the lives of those who have been forced to leave their homes.
