Cake sale fundraising for World GiftsStudents from Cardinal Newman college in Preston raised over £100 to spend on a Marvellous moo cow by holding a cake sale during Interfaith Week. Read more...

Year six pupils raise enough money for six Pigs that provideSt Christina’s school in St. John’s Wood held a ballet performance of The 3 Little Pigs to raise money for CAFOD World Gifts.  The year 6 girls did everything from making the set and composing the music to choreographing the dance. The £400 they raised could buy six Pigs that provide!

An Advent challenge in Leeds for World GiftsSt Mary’s Parish in Carlton were inspired by CAFOD's work in Bolivia to set themselves an Advent challenge! They've been collecting pound coins in sweet tubes and asking for donations in stead of Christmas cards. 

Birthday fundraising for World GiftsTwins Grace and Elizabeth from Peterborough invited their whole primary school class to their 11th birthday party, but they asked for donations for World Gifts instead of presents. They bought a Community toilet, Water for a family, Healthy mum and baby, the Net that protects, two tote bags and 28 meal stickers - one for each member of their class!

A Salfod concert raised over £300 to buy 12 Gifts of play25 children from primary and secondary education in Bury have shared their musical talent at a Christmas concert to raise money for World Gifts. They raised enough to buy twelve Gifts of play! Read more...

A Crewe parish held hunger lunches to raise money towards World Gifts

A group of churchgoers from Crewe held a ‘hunger lunch’ each Friday in Advent to raise funds towards World Gifts. They've raised an amazing £1,562.25 in support of Rohingya refugees who have fled Myanmar. Harish, one of the organisers, told us: “I really like CAFOD’s ethos of helping others to help themselves" Read more... 

School fundraisers raised over £750 with chocolate themed fundraising!St John's College, Southsea raised over £750 for World Gifts by holding a mini Christmas market with a chocolate tombola and a tattoo station of glitter and water tattoos! Read more... 

Parishoners in Clifton bought a community toilet this Christmas!Rather than buying Christmas cards, Christ The King in Thornbury joined with Holy Cross in Wotton under Edge wrote greetings on small cards and displayed them on the parish Christmas tree for all to see. Each person donated the money they saved on cards and together the parishes bought a Community toilet among other gifts!

Be inspired by our Guernsey fundraisers and get your own goat!Guernsey parishioners took part in a special Advent fundraising project and raised an incredible £2,972, enough to buy 105 Goats that give!
